Consultation on Homelessness and rough sleeping

Good afternoon,
Just a reminder that Canterbury City Council is consulting on its strategy to tackle homelessness and rough sleeping. This remains a key priority for the council, and we would like to build on the success of the previous strategy to improve our response.
The strategy, once implemented, will run for the next 5 years.
The survey asks for your views on:
  • the four strategic priorities in the draft strategy and whether you think the proposed approaches will be effective
  • how well the strategy supports children and families affected by homelessness
  • whether anything is missing from the draft
  • how realistic the strategy is to deliver given current funding and housing pressures
  • which partners you think the council should be working with
The consultation will close at 9:00am on Wednesday 2 September.

This is a reminder to anyone who has not yet filled in the survey, so please do so before the deadline above.
You can read the draft strategy here.
