Message from DevComms re Britton Court Solar Farm (please note that their attendance at the next Parish council
Meeting is yet to be confirmed):
Firstly, we wanted to thank members for taking the time to attend our consultation event on the proposals for the Britton Court Solar Farm & Battery Storage facility on Tuesday 8th October. Our public consultation and member preview event were very well attended and it was lovely to meet many of the Hackington Parish Council members to discuss the proposals in more detail.
Further to this, we were keen to arrange a further drop in session within the Hackington Parish for those residents who were unable to attend the first one, to discuss the proposals in more detail and show our plans. This will be held at the Tylers Kiln pub (tylerskiln.co.uk), next Thursday 24th October, between 6.00pm and 8.30pm.
We would also be pleased to arrange a call or drop in for any residents who are unable to attend this but would like to discuss the proposals with us directly.
Finally, I note that your next Parish Council meeting is due to be held on 7th November. We would be keen to attend this meeting in order to answer any further questions and we would also be pleased to prepare a short presentation if this would be helpful.
