At the last Parish Council meeting, our Ward Councillor Barbara Flack reported that she had received a few queries from residents, regarding receipt of their government council tax rebate (for Bands A-D only). Currently, the council is working their way through the list of all residents, who pay by direct debit and have made the latest payment. Additional staff have been seconded in to deal with this large task. Once all of these rebate payments have been made to this group of people, CCC will then contact (by email or letter) those residents who don’t pay by direct debit, to arrange their rebate. If anyone hasn’t received their rebate or heard from CCC by 20th June, they can contact Ward Cllr Flack barbara.flack@councillor.canterbury.gov.uk and she will look into it.
