Stagecoach will be able to provide a Monday – Saturday service. The times for the Saturday service will be the same as Monday – Friday as below:
Canterbury – Tyler Hill:
09:40, 10:40, 11:40, 12:40, 13:40, 14:40, 15:45, 16:50 & 17:55.
Tyler Hill – Canterbury:
10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:04, 17:08.
Unfortunately, they will not be able to provide a service on Sundays.
Whilst they were able to divert an existing service Monday to Saturday, this service does not operate on Sunday. With the Commonwealth Games taking place this summer, they do not have a spare driver to operate additional mileage currently.
Stagecoach will place a temporary stop before Link Road as shown below. There will be signage attached to both stops in Tyler Hill information people about the road closure and the temporary stop / shuttle arrangements.
On the temporary stop there will be a timetable attached as well as signage in the Bus Station information passengers how to travel to Tyler Hill.
This service will be a temporary extension to the UNI1 service & will operate via Canterbury Hill, Wood Hill, Hackington Road, Link Road, Calais Hill, Canterbury Hill with a temporary stop located on the grass bank before the left hand turn into Link Road. The service will operate to & from Canterbury via the University, Whitstable Road, London Road & Rheims Way for the duration of the works.
