Kent Police are hosting a bike marking event in Canterbury City Centre on Saturday 13th January 2024, between 10AM and 4PM. This will be situated at Rose Lane, Canterbury City Centre, close to the Marlow… More Arcade. CT21 2JP.
Bike marking is a worthwhile deterrent to bike thieves and aids in the recovery/ return of bikes to their rightful owners in the event that they are stolen. They will happy to provide security advice as well on the day. Note this service is free of charge, however please be aware they do not typically mark (young) children’s bikes as these are rapidly out grown and would negate the registering of the bike as information will become outdated rather quickly.
Also they would ask that bikes are relatively clean as this will allow them to effectively apply the marking kit to your bike.
