Further to the notice regarding the Hackington Road six week closure (which is due to start 25th July), the Parish Council has been liaising with Stagecoach to facilitate a connecting bus service with Canterbury City Centre during this time.
Stagecoach have arranged for one of their services to make a detour to serve Tyler Hill.
This service will be a temporary extension to the UNI1 service & will operate via Canterbury Hill, Wood Hill, Hackington Road, Link Road, Calais Hill, Canterbury Hill with a temporary stop located on the grass bank before the left hand turn into Link Road.
The service will operate to & from Canterbury via the University, Whitstable Road, London road & Rheims Way for the duration of the works.
Currently, Stagecoach have made the arrangements based on Mon – Fri and are working on a suitable solution for Saturday & Sunday. The Parish council will publish here and on our website as soon as we are advised of the details.
The departure times are as follows (but these will be published in the bus station & also on the temporary stop in Tyler Hill).
Canterbury – Tyler Hill:
09:40, 10:40, 11:40, 12:40, 13:40, 14:40, 15:45, 16:50 & 17:55.
Tyler Hill – Canterbury:
10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:04, 17:08.
