If you live in St John’s Crescent, to let you know that the Parish Council are working hard to get CCC to provide bigger refuse bins for the flats at the north end of the road (Flat #21+). If you live in the flats, please try to recycle as much as possible and maybe double wrap refuse to avoid it becoming litter. Understandably foxes will always present a problem when litter bags are not inside refuse bins but anything that can be done to avoid this current eyesore for other residents would be much appreciated. Ironically it would cause less work for everyone if CCC provided bigger bins, as currently we are having to report this as fly tipping every time time. The CANENCO waste collectors are sympathetic to the problem but unable to take refuse- unless it is in the refuse bins provided.
